Maersk Line says S?ren Str?m brings a combination of deep accounting knowledge, experience and leadership skills.

S?ren Str?m joins from Clipper Group

MAERSK Line has announced that S?ren Str?m will join the company as chief financial officer, starting November 1.

Mr Str?m is currently chief financial officer of Clipper Group.

Maersk said: ?We are thrilled that S?ren has chosen to join Maersk Line. He brings the combination of deep accounting knowledge, experience and the leadership skills that we need for our transformation.?

Mr Str?m worked for 27 years for Ernst & Young, 11 years as partner and the last five years as part of the Danish management team. He left Ernst & Young to focus on his role at Clipper.
